James Pearson was the Didcot Town development hero with a superb hat-trick in the 3-2 win against Holmer Green.
Pearson took his total to 12 goals in 8 appearances for the devs this season in the win at the Loop Meadow Stadium to keep Didcot at the top of the table.
Pearson opened the scoring on 8 minutes with a fine finish.
Holmer equalised on 30 minutes with a fantastic strike.
Didcot took control of the game in the opening ten minutes of the second half.
Pearson scored his second of the game in the opening minute of the second half and he completed his hat-trick on 54 minutes.
Bradley Moon almost made it four when his strike came back off the post and Holmer set up a tight finish when they reduced the deficit halfway through the second half.
Pearson almost added his fourth in the closing minutes when he danced through the Holmer defence but he was denied by the Holmer keeper.
Holmer threw everything at trying to find an equaliser in the dying moments but Didcot held on for the win.
